Impacto del proyecto! Colectivo Ciudadanas Cuidando - en el marco del proyecto “Plan para explorar la infraestructura de cuidados barriales en el Barrio Juanita Aguirre, Conchalí, Chile” - participa del PQMB. Estas acciones representan un avance sostenible hacia la implementación de Centros Comunitarios de Cuidados y Protección del Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo.
Durante el mes de enero 2023, el Colectivo Ciudadanas Cuidando fue parte de la iniciativa pionera, “Enfoque de Cuidados Barriales 2023” del Programa Quiero Mi Barrio PQMB, en el Barrio Media Luna San Francisco de la comuna San José de la Mariquina, Región de los Ríos, Chile. En el marco de este piloto, el colectivo desarrolló talleres de participación comunitaria, gracias al diagnóstico del Plan de Gestión Social del PQMB de la Municipalidad de Mariquina y el Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo (MINVU).
Este espacio contó con la participación de Fernanda Alvear, Encargada Nacional del PQMB del MINVU, Daniel Barrientos, de SEREMI MINVU de la región de Los Ríos, los equipos regionales y locales del programa, junto a las personas cuidadoras, personas con discapacidad, personas mayores y la comunidad. Esta iniciativa fue para muchos un espacio de intercambio en donde por primera vez pudieron compartir sus experiencias sobre los cuidados y sus propuestas para convertir su barrio, en un barrio de cuidador.
Gracias a esta iniciativa la Municipalidad de Mariquina postulará a fines de enero al concurso de “Buenas Prácticas de Cuidado” del Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo. Estas acciones representan un avance sostenible hacia la implementación de Centros Comunitarios de Cuidados y Protección del MINVU, en los cuales el barrio Media Luna San Francisco espera postular en la próxima convocatoria.

Project impact! Ciudadanas Cuidando Collective - under the project "Plan to explore the infrastructure of neighborhood care in the Juanita Aguirre neighborhood, Conchalí, Chile," - participated in the "Quiero Mi Barrio" Programme (PQMB). This participation marks a sustainable step towards the implementation of Community Care and Protection Centres by the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism.
During January 2023, the Citizens Caring Collective was part of a pioneering initiative, "Focus on Neighborhood Care 2023" of PQMB, in the Barrio Media Luna San Francisco of the San José de la Mariquina Municipality, Región de los Ríos, Chile. Within the framework of this pilot, the Collective developed community participation workshops, thanks to the diagnosis of the Social Management Plan of the Municipality of Mariquina and the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism, MINVU.
This space included the participation of Fernanda Alvear, National Manager of the PQMB of the MINVU, Daniel Barrientos, SEREMI MINVU of the region of Los Ríos, regional and local teams of the programme, along with caregivers, people with disabilities, older people and the wider community. For many, this initiative was a space of exchange where - for the first time - they could share their experiences of care and their proposals to turn their neighborhood into a caregiver community.
Thanks to this initiative, the Municipality of Mariquina will apply at the end of January for the "Good Care Practices" competition of the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism. These actions represent a sustainable advance towards implementing MINVU Community Care and Protection Centers, which the Media Luna San Francisco neighborhood hopes to apply in the next call.
